The Property
This dog-friendly, self-catering barn sits in the heart of the small rural hamlet of Brimaston, Pembrokeshire.
To keep in-line with the authentic barn feel, the beams and flagstone floors are key features with underfloor heating throughout, as well as high quality furnishings.
The ground floor has an open plan kitchen & dining room, large lounge, laundry room and family bathroom. The spacious bedroom downstairs is fitted with an ensuite, with doors leading out into the garden. The twin and double room upstairs are bright, spacious and both share the second family bathroom.
Carreg Las Barn is the perfect place for you, and your four-legged friends, if you love to relax and unwind in a bright, spacious and beautifully decorated property.
The Exterior
Outside this self-catering barn conversion there is a spacious garden and patio for those warm summer days, evening BBQ’s and al fresco lunches. The garden leads down to a large landscaped area with pond, designed to attract the flora and fauna here in Pembrokeshire.
The Surroundings
Newgale Beach, one of Pembrokeshire’s Blue Flag beaches, is a drive (or cycle) away from Carreg Las Barn and is famous for is sheer size. The beach is 2-miles of sand and pebbles making it perfect for days out or evening strolls.
Kite-surfing and surfing are popular on this beach and tuition is available.
Walk down to the southern end to find a walk-through cave and numerous sheltered bays. Cross the river at the back of the pebble bank opposite the café at the north end to gain access to several low tide bays.
St Davids Peninsula has some of the most magnificent coastal scenery in Pembrokeshire. This is the heart of The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the coast path walking is delightful. The smallest city in the UK is abundant with good places to eat, boat trips to Skomer & Ramsey island.
Carreg Las Barn is the perfect family destination, ideally located to explore the treasures of Pembrokeshire, with plenty to see and do everyone, of all ages, young and old.

Fantastic barn conversion, comfortable for group of 6, good size living space and kitchen. In a rural location, extremely peaceful, good place to stay, felt safe and location is convenient to explore Pembrokeshire. Didn't explore local pubs due to our schedule, but there were recommendations available by the host. There is lovely garden with the barn which is very private.Ample parking space for at least 4 cars.

Overall we had a really great stay here for a week in September. The house is really comfortable and big - the living areas were great and the bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfy. The linen/towels were good quality. The bathrooms were a little outdated but very clean. We could have done with a few more household supplies provided, eg. Kitchen surface spray and soap in the bathrooms as we were only given one soap for the whole house. The gardens were big and our little girl loved exploring them! We were missing a highchair and travel cot when we got there - we brought our own travel cot thankfully and the agency quickly provided us with a highchair but just as a heads-up for those with kids, you might want to check before you go. The internet was really quite slow for most of the week, it did get better at times but we did struggle to stream Netflix etc. Not a huge problem as we were out a lot! In general we had a brilliant week and felt very at home in the house.

This was a lovely spacious, clean and well-equipped property with good outdoor space for sitting with a BBQ. As we knew, it is fairly isolated, but an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire.

This is a spacious and comfortable house which is excellently positioned (in a tiny and secluded hamlet) for trips around any part of Pembrokeshire. Newgale is nearby but there are plenty of other beaches, coastal walks, and other attractions in easy reach. The house was clean and kitted out with all the essentials and good quality appliances. The welcome pack from NetLet (who manage the property) is a little bit spartan so guests might need to get some extra soap, dishwasher tablets, etc. But that’s a tiny quibble and overall this is a superb place to stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales.

A lovely spacious property which is very well equipped in a peaceful location. We chose this property because we were going to a family wedding nearby however it was a great location for walking on the Pembrokeshire coastal path, beautiful sandy beaches as well as for visiting St David's and Tenby. The property exceeded our expectations.

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely, peaceful property. It is well decorated and the photos are accurate. The garden is large and great for children, however, not secure for 'littlies'. Crockery is rather scarce and resulted in dishwasher being run half empty 2 or 3 times a day! Bring your own dishwasher tablets and loo roll! One disappointing element was that this is not a private property but part of a letting agency. Very confusing emails were received via Airbnb and rather stressful for us was not receiving details of address or keys until 2 days before travel. They had our full payment 3 weeks before our arrival!

We arrived to find this Beautiful converted Barn fitted out in stylish decor,very easy kitchen to use,with everything you need and more,enough bathrooms,for 6people,very well run with a file explaining the appliances, plenty of lighting,solid doors with locks,Hot water all the time.and heating when needed.
We all loved it and had an amazing time, we were celebrating a Big Birthday of mine and it was perfect.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It was very clean and tidy and had all the essential amenities we could want. It's very spacious and was a perfect environment for a group of six adults and three young children. Penny the host was very quick at responding to any questions and was very kind in making sure there were high chairs available for the children. I would recommend this cottage as a place to go and stay if you're wanting to visit the pembrokeshire area.
