Christmas and New Year Breaks in Pembrokeshire 2025

Christmas and New Year breaks Pembrokeshire

Celebrate the Season with Special Offers from NetLet UK

There’s something quietly special about spending Christmas or New Year in Pembrokeshire. The pace slows down, the coast feels wild and peaceful, and the cottages are warm — the kind of warmth that comes from good company, not central heating alone.

This winter, at NetLet UK Pembrokeshire Cottages, we’re offering special discounts across selected stays between Christmas and the New Year. It’s our way of helping guests make the most of the season — whether that means a long walk along a near‑empty beach, a lazy festive meal, or a gentle reset before the year ahead.

A Christmas with Space to Breathe

If you’ve ever wanted to escape the rush and have Christmas your way, this is the place to do it. Picture yourself pulling a roast from the oven at Lambston Cottage, log fire going, and the promise of a beach walk once the table is cleared.

Travelling with a dog? We’ve got plenty of pet‑friendly options too — our Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages in West Wales guide is a good place to start.

Christmas at St Davids Cathedral

If you’re staying in or around St Davids — perhaps at one of our cosy Ty Collection cottages (Ty EithinTy OnnenTy Helygen, or Ty Bedwen) — the nearby St Davids Cathedral is a true highlight during the festive season.

This year’s winter programme includes “A Christmas Spectacular” (13 December), “Handel’s Messiah” (6 December) and “A Christmas Gathering” (19 December). Families will love the Angel Trail (19 December – 6 January 2026), an illuminated walk around the Cathedral Close exploring the Christmas story through art and light. On Boxing Day, Follow the Star (26 December) invites little ones to explore a nativity‑themed treasure hunt inside the Cathedral itself.

In early 2026, quieter reflective events return — from the St Aiden’s Day Pilgrimage on 31 January to an Ash Wednesday Quiet Day in February. And of course, the Cathedral’s Gŵyl Dewi activities and St David’s Day Pilgrimage (28 Feb – 1 Mar 2026) celebrate Wales’ patron saint in a truly special way, bringing locals and visitors together.

Whether you join an evening concert, wander the lit-up Cathedral Close, or simply soak in the sense of peace this season brings, St Davids offers one of the most inspiring festive experiences in Wales — all just a stroll or short drive from our Ty properties.

Our Winter Offers

Through early January, we’re running a festive offer on selected cottages, with reduced rates for both short breaks and week‑long stays. Each property comes fully equipped for self‑catering, with winter comforts like firewood, warm throws and plenty of space to unwind.

You can browse all available cottages, including those featured above, on our NetLet UK homepage.

A Thought Before You Book

If you’ve read our Autumn Escapes in Pembrokeshire 2025 post, you’ll know how much we value the slower seasons here. Christmas and New Year are an extension of that — the same coastal charm, just with a touch more light and music.

Wherever you stay — in a harbour‑view apartment or tucked away in one of our quiet St Davids cottages — we hope your winter in Pembrokeshire feels like a true break.
