About the property
This coastal holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire can sleep up to 4 people. There is a spacious master bedroom fitted with a king sized bed and adjacent to the master, is a twin room, with 2 single beds and views over the garden. Joining the two bedrooms is a family bathroom; bath, shower, sink and toilet. Following onto the ground floor you will find a cloakroom backed onto the entrance and staircase. Further into the cottage is the living and dining area that sits 4 perfectly for your self-catering stay. To cater during your stay the kitchen is fitted with all the essentials you need with the use of a utility room out the back.
Outside this coastal holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire is where it really showcases its reputation. The garden has ample acres of secured land for the family and four legged friends to play. Not only is the garden a charming feature but you will enjoy the patio and seating area to use at your leisure. Outside the boundaries of the property is a magical stroll through open meadows into some of the National Trusts Woodland. If you follow the path for about 10-minutes it will bring you out to two of the areas best beaches.
The Location
This secluded hard to reach beach is National Trust managed and sits on the most westerly peninsula of Wales between Fishguard and St David’s Head; access is by a single track road from Mathry.
The sand and pebble beach is in a small natural bay, and is stony at first but reveals a deep stretch of dark sand when the waters recede. There’s good swimming in the Blue Flagged water but no lifeguard cover. See angling, kiting and surfing also go on here, but the rip currents here can be difficult so it’s only for experienced surfers.
There is a submerged prehistoric forest just offshore and on calm days you can see trees under the water.
No immediate facilities or activities so don’t skimp on the beach toys when you’re packing!

The Farmers Arms Pub is situated on Mathry Hill a short driver or a 30-min walk from Felin Dwarch.
It is open 7 days a week from 12pm to 11pm for dine-in and takeaway services.
